Summary: SC Residential Opportunity and Education Act
    A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ENACTING THE "SOUTH CAROLINA RESIDENTIAL OPPORTUNITY AND EDUCATION ACT"; AND BY ADDING ARTICLE 5 TO CHAPTER 7, TITLE 6 SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY'S FINDINGS, AND TO PROVIDE THAT COUNTIES AND MUNICIPALITIES ARE AUTHORIZED TO USE INCLUSIONARY ZONING STRATEGIES TO INCREASE THE AVAILABILITY OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
